The out course features a notable valley-crossing hole—favor accuracy off the tee and consider laying up rather than risking a long driven approach into the valley.

The redesigned fairways are relatively flatter and more forgiving, so hitting fairways with a fairway wood or long iron will reward you with shorter, easier approaches.

The in course is longer and requires strategic shot placement, so prioritize position and proper club selection over trying to hit maximum distance.

Greens are bentgrass and generally receptive, so focus on hitting the correct level or tier and controlling spin to leave makeable putts.

Watch the wind, which can swing from light to brisk on exposed highland holes—adjust club selection especially on mid- and long irons.
