Playing Tips

The mountain routing produces frequent elevation changes so carefully adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots.

Many holes feature relatively narrow landing areas, so favor accuracy off the tee over pure distance to avoid trouble.

The 16th is exposed to ridge winds and the front nine (around the 3rd) can feel coastal breezes from Sakurajima, so always account for wind direction and strength.

Greens include Korai (zoysia) and Bentgrass surfaces with subtle undulations, so pay close attention to speed differences and read breaks from multiple angles.

Take advantage of the practice facilities to dial in approach distances and putting as precise placement is rewarded on the often well-maintained but tricky greens.
