About This Course

Shirakawa Meadow Golf Club is a beautiful highland golf course located in Ten-ei Village, Fukushima Prefecture. Designed by renowned architect Shunsuke Kato, the course offers stunning panoramic views, including expansive scenes of the Kanto Plain. Situated at an elevation of 960 meters, it is one of the highest courses in the Tohoku region, providing a refreshing and scenic golfing experience. Playing Tips

At nearly 1,000 meters elevation your ball will carry a bit farther than at sea level, so consider taking one club less for the same yardage.

The course is exposed in places so wind can strongly affect long shots; keep lower trajectories into headwinds and aim for the sheltered side of greens when possible.

With bentgrass greens expect a true roll and potentially faster speeds, so focus on landing approaches below the hole and use the slopes to feed the ball.

At 6,896 yards the course is relatively long, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and avoid overly aggressive lines that can leave you blocked out by rough or hazards.

Dress in layers and bring rain protection and soft-spike shoes, as mornings can be cool and spring play may encounter wet or soft conditions underfoot.
