Shinjo Arden Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole course located in Yamagata Prefecture’s Tohoku region. Playing Tips

Make use of the mostly flat, open layout by emphasizing accurate tee placement rather than pure distance since you can see the green from the tee on most holes.

Beware the grass bunkers around several greens, which punish short or offline approaches and often require precise recovery shots.

Although elevation change is minimal, the exposed setting can produce variable wind so check direction and strength before selecting clubs.

At about 7015 yards overall, the course is long so play conservatively on long par 4s and par 5s to protect your score and leave manageable approach shots.
