Playing Tips

1
Use the forward tees if the full 7,018 yards feels too long—the course offers multiple tee options to suit less powerful players.
2
Many holes feature noticeable elevation changes, so club up on uphill approach shots and club down on long downhill plays.
3
Wind can be shifty and stronger on exposed ridgelines between the limestone outcrops, so keep shots low and controlled when it's breezy.
4
Aim for the center of the green on approach shots because the bentgrass surfaces are often subtly undulating and pin placements can be penal.
5
Respect tighter landing areas framed by rock formations and native rough by prioritizing position over raw distance off the tee.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Being inland and hilly, the area has hot, humid summers with a June rainy season, mild and breezy spring and autumn days, and cold winters with occasional snow at higher elevations, while mornings are often cool and winds can be gusty on exposed ridges.
Best Season to Play
Late spring (April–June, avoiding the heaviest rainy-season weeks) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures, clear skies and attractive scenery, while mid-summer and the rainy season are less pleasant.
