The links-inspired, riverside layout is exposed to wind so always account for gusts and consider taking an extra club into the wind.

Fairways can play firm and fast so low, running shots and tee placement to use roll are often more effective than trying to carry every hazard.

Pete Dye’s design favors small, sloping greens and precise approaches, so prioritize hitting the correct side of the green to leave an uphill or simpler putt.

Natural bunkers, fescue and riverside hazards penalize loose shots, so err on the conservative side with risk-reward lines when conditions are windy.
