Playing Tips

Take advantage of the front nine’s relatively flat, wide fairways by being aggressive off the tee to set up shorter approach shots.

The back nine’s elevation changes, three water crossings and doglegs demand accuracy—favor position over distance and plan each hole ahead of the shot.

Because the course sits on a cape overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, monitor wind direction closely and use a lower ball flight when conditions are gusty.

Bentgrass greens can run quick when dry, so pay attention to slopes and pin positions and aim to leave your putts below the hole.

Adjust club selection for uphill and downhill approaches—elevation can change effective yardage by one to two clubs.
