Playing Tips

With an elongated layout and a central access road dividing the nines, plan each nine separately and favour the wider portions of fairways to avoid tree trouble.

Fairways feature gentle undulations and tree-lined landing areas, so prioritise accuracy over raw distance to leave optimal approach angles.

Wind in this hilly inland area can be variable—check conditions on the day and adjust club selection, especially on longer par‑3s and exposed holes.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and relatively challenging, so expect moderate-to-fast speeds and subtle breaks and aim to leave approaches below the hole.

There are very few blind shots and sightlines are generally good, so when the line is visible you can take a more aggressive approach off the tee on risk‑reward holes.
