The course is a true test at 6,806 yards, so prioritize distance off the tee but reward accuracy to avoid long approaches into tight landing zones.

The front nine contains several risk–reward holes where aggressive tee shots can gain strokes, while the back nine’s woodland routing requires controlled shot placement and course management.

Take advantage of the 10th hole’s wide fairway to hit a confident driver and set up a shorter approach into the green.

Greens are a mix of Bermudagrass and Bentgrass so expect grain and faster, bumpier conditions on Bermuda in summer and truer, firmer putting on Bentgrass in cooler months.

Always check local wind and elevation changes on tee shots—on higher or exposed holes wind can significantly affect carry and club selection.

Saitama in the Kanto region has a humid climate with a rainy season in June–July, hot and humid summers with occasional typhoon influence in late summer, and relatively cool, dry winters; local winds can be variable but woodland holes are often more sheltered.

Best Season to Play

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) are the best times to play for comfortable temperatures, stable weather, and good course conditions, with autumn also offering pleasant foliage views.

Dress Code

During play, please refrain from wearing clothing not sold as golf (sports) wear, such as T-shirts and jeans; please wear soft spike or spikeless golf shoes; wearing a hat is recommended for safety and heatstroke prevention; persons with tattoos are not allowed to use the bath.
