Play the Aikawa nine aggressively off the tee because it is relatively flat and rewards distance, while being more conservative on the Sagami nine where valley crossings demand accurate club selection and carry.

On the Shiroyama nine prioritize precision into the greens as small landing areas and subtle slopes make up-and-downs challenging.

Bentgrass greens can be firm and true—take care with your pace on downhill putts and read subtle breaks carefully.

Check yardages and prefer positional lay-ups on holes with ravines or valley carries rather than trying heroic carries that leave you with awkward approach angles.
