Playing Tips

1
At 6,873 yards with a championship layout, long and accurate tee shots are rewarded so prioritize distance and control off the tee.
2
As a forested course, many holes favor accuracy—consider long irons or hybrids instead of always using a driver.
3
Water features are used strategically on several holes, so choose conservative lines and avoid short-siding your approach shots.
4
Greens have notable undulation; read the contours carefully and aim for the correct tier to give yourself makable putts.
5
Hilly terrain produces frequent elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and be prepared for variable wind on exposed holes.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Saga in Kyushu has hot, humid summers with a rainy season in June–July and occasional typhoons in late summer, while springs and autumns are generally mild and stable; ridge-top holes can be breezier than sheltered valley holes.
Best Season to Play
Late spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most pleasant and stable playing conditions, avoiding the June rainy season and the peak heat and typhoon risk of midsummer.
