Playing Tips

The front nine features several longer holes that reward distance off the tee, so be aggressive with longer clubs when you can but prioritize fairway position for the approach shots.

The back nine requires more precision with multiple holes guarded by ponds and creeks, so plan lay-ups and club selection carefully to avoid water hazards.

Fairways are generally flat and cart access is allowed on fairways when conditions permit, so use cart positioning to save energy and give yourself better angles into greens.

Bentgrass greens are usually true and receptive, so focus on speed control and be mindful of subtle breaks and uphill/downhill putts.

Weather can change quickly in Kyushu—watch for sea breezes and gusts that affect ball flight and remember fairway riding may be restricted after heavy rain.

During play, please refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans that are not sold as golf (sports) wear. Please wear golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles during play. For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat during play is recommended.
