Playing Tips

Account for coastal wind on nearly every hole and select clubs more conservatively when the sea breeze picks up.

The layout is hilly with three separate 9-hole loops, so aim for positional tee shots to set up comfortable yardages into greens.

Greens include both bentgrass and zoysia, with bent areas playing faster in cool seasons and zoysia showing more grain and slower speeds in summer, so adjust putting pace accordingly.

Approach shots need precision because well-maintained but often undulating greens can leave long, difficult comeback putts if you miss the proper side of the hole.

Remember soft spikes are required and consider staying at the adjacent Hotel Valencia if you have an early tee time or want to split your round across days.
