Bentgrass greens are maintained for tournament play and can be relatively quick and true, so control your speed on long putts and pay attention to subtle breaks.

Tree and rough penalties are common on missed tee shots, so favor safer angles and lay up where fairways narrow to give yourself a clear approach.
