Natural woodland between holes can block errant shots, so prioritize accuracy off the tee over pure distance to keep in play.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be relatively quick with subtle breaks, so take time to read the green and control approach distance.

The strategic layout rewards position play—lay up to preferred angles rather than always attacking pins, especially where landing areas are narrow.
