Playing Tips

1
The Misato Course features several long holes so longer hitters can gain strokes but accuracy is still important because runouts can feed into trouble.
2
On the Okabe Course expect downhill tee shots and valley or water carrys, so club selection and committing to the line are more important than trying to hit maximum distance.
3
Pay careful attention to elevation changes—take one or two clubs more for uphill approaches and one or two less for downhill shots to avoid coming up short or running through greens.
4
Greens are a mix of Bentgrass (faster, truer) and Zoysia/Korai (firmer with grain), so check the surface before putting and adjust speed and reads accordingly.
5
Wind can be deceptive in the hilly terrain; monitor flags and feel for ridge-to-valley gusts that can change ball flight on long irons and drivers.
