Ohtone’s bentgrass greens are known for their quality and can be quick and true, so focus on speed control and leave short lag putts below the hole.

Pine-lined fairways mean accuracy off the tee is rewarded—errant drives often find trees or penal areas rather than open rough.

Many holes feature strategically placed ponds and bunkers protecting approaches and greens, so prioritize placement on approach shots over sheer distance.

With minimal elevation change across the courses, club selection should account more for wind and green firmness than for uphill or downhill yardage.

Because the club has hosted championship events, some greens and pin locations can be challenging and require precise iron play to set up birdie chances.
