Playing Tips

The West nine has wide fairways and large, open greens so conservative tee shots are rewarded and give beginners room to recover.

The East nine winds through pines, bamboo and cedar and includes three large ponds, so prioritize accurate approaches to avoid water hazards.

The South nine is longest and most demanding, particularly the mid‑holes, so plan your club selection and layups carefully to avoid big numbers.

Greens are Zoysia and tend to play firmer and a touch slower than bentgrass, so trust your distance control and expect modest break on putts.

Summer is hot and humid with variable afternoon breezes, which can affect longer tee shots on the more exposed West and South nines.
