Noshiro Country Club, established in 1965 as the third golf course in Akita Prefecture, offers a scenic seaside golfing experience. Nestled near the UNESCO-listed Shirakami Mountains and protected by coastal pine windbreaks, the course features a relatively short but challenging layout with pine trees strategically placed around the greens. This flat, pine-lined course encourages walking and provides excellent drainage thanks to its natural sandy soil, making it playable even after rain.
