Despite the long overall yardage, accuracy off the tee is crucial because many fairways are tree-lined and penalize wayward drives.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be deceptively fast and subtle, so prioritize green reading and controlling approach spin and distance.

Several holes feature ponds and water hazards—play conservatively on carries and favor safe angles into the greens to avoid big numbers.

Moderate elevation changes are present around the foothills, so account for uphill or downhill lies when selecting clubs and check the yardages carefully.

Wind can be variable, especially on exposed or higher holes, so adjust club selection and aim according to gusts and prevailing direction.
