About This Course

Nihonkai Golf Club Inabayama Course is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course in Iwami Town, Tottori Prefecture, on the Japan Sea side of the prefecture. The course is identified with the Inabayama area and was designed by J. E. Crane. Its setting in the Iwami district provides a regional golf experience away from the larger urban centers, while the standard 18-hole layout is suitable for a complete round. The greens use Korai grass together with other grass types. Course-specific details such as individual hole strategy, yardage, elevation changes, and available facilities should be confirmed with the club before play. The course’s location in Iwami makes it a useful option for golfers exploring eastern Tottori and the surrounding coastal area.

Playing Tips

1
At 6,564 yards and par 72, prioritize consistent tee shots and avoid taking unnecessary risks on unfamiliar holes.
2
Allow for changing winds from the Sea of Japan side, especially when selecting clubs for longer approach shots.
3
Korai grass can produce a different ball reaction from faster modern putting surfaces, so spend time on the practice green to judge pace and break.
4
Favor conservative targets when weather reduces visibility or makes fairways and greens firmer, as recovery shots can quickly add strokes.
