Play conservatively off the tee and favor the center of the fairway because strategically placed bunkers and water hazards will heavily penalize wayward drives.

Coastal winds are a constant factor—check the direction before every shot, club up or down accordingly, and consider a lower ball flight in stronger winds.

The Genkai and Tsuyazaki nines reward accurate approach shots, so prioritize positioning on the safe side of the green to avoid bunkers or water trouble.

Bentgrass greens are smooth and can run quick when dry, so trust your reads and be cautious on downhill putts.
