Pete Dye’s forest-style routing features relatively narrow, tree-lined fairways so prioritize accuracy off the tee over sheer distance.

The downhill dogleg 16th with a large lake demands careful club selection and strategy—consider a controlled fade or a lay-up to avoid the water.

Bentgrass greens show pronounced undulations, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole and be prepared for fast, breaking putts.

The 2014 renovation sharpened bunkers and contours, making course management and conservative play on long par‑4s and par‑5s especially important.
