Nagasaki Country Club, established in 1955, is one of the oldest golf courses in Nagasaki Prefecture. Rooted in a historic golf club founded in the early Showa era, this 9-hole mountain course offers a welcoming, homey atmosphere that has been cherished by members for decades. Located in Nagasaki city, the course features well-kept Zoysia greens and a par 36 layout spanning about 2,700 yards. Playing Tips

This is a short 9‑hole mountain course so prioritize accuracy off the tee rather than raw distance to avoid tight landing areas and side slopes.

Expect frequent elevation changes—club selection must account for uphill and downhill yardage differences to avoid coming up short or overshooting greens.

Greens are Zoysia (Koma) and well kept, often firm with grain, so hit precise approach shots and pay close attention to grain direction and subtle breaks when putting.

Coastal and mountain-influenced winds can be variable and gusty, so check the flag on every hole and play conservative club choices on exposed tees and approaches.

Many holes feature slopes and relatively small targets, so course management and laying up when unsure will often save strokes rather than trying aggressive carries.
