The hilly, tree-lined layout rewards positional tee shots—favor accuracy over pure distance to find safer angles into the fairways.

Many greens are elevated and sloping, so plan approaches with extra club for carry and aim for the correct landing areas to avoid long downhill putts.

Coastal winds can be gusty and variable, so check wind direction from each tee and adjust club selection and shot shape accordingly.
