The Ueda-designed layout rewards accuracy off the tee, so target the center of the fairway rather than trying to overpower holes.

With generous fairways and a total length of 6,750 yards, play smart on long par 4s by laying up to a comfortable approach distance rather than going for risky carries.

Zoysia (Koma) greens can be firmer and show subtle breaks, so prioritize hitting the correct side of the hole and make conservative reads on downhill putts.

Being near the Kanmon Strait, exposed holes can be breezy—check wind direction at the tee and add or subtract a club accordingly.
