Playing Tips

Take advantage of the generally wide fairways by playing conservatively off the tee to avoid trouble from side slopes caused by mild undulations.

Consider wind off the Sea of Japan when choosing clubs, especially on exposed holes where a strong cross or headwind can change yardage significantly.

Bentgrass greens are receptive but can be subtly contoured, so spend extra time reading breaks and favor conservative targets on approach shots.

Expect some elevation changes so club up or down for uphill or downhill shots, particularly from elevated tees that can shorten or lengthen the effective distance.
