Playing Tips

1
The hilly, undulating layout means club selection is crucial because elevation changes on approaches can significantly alter yardage.
2
Greens are Bentgrass, well maintained but often undulating and strategic around the pins, so prioritize hitting close to the flag and reading subtle breaks carefully.
3
Use the remote-controlled GPS carts to manage pace of play and to plan shots from elevated tees or tricky approaches without rushing.
4
Accuracy off the tee is rewarded more than raw distance on many holes, so favor controlled tee shots over trying to overpower the course.
5
Be mindful of wind on exposed ridges and elevated holes as it can affect trajectory and club choice, particularly in the afternoon and on cooler days.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
The Kansai/Hyogo area has a humid subtropical climate with a pronounced rainy season in June–July, hot humid summers with occasional typhoons and thunderstorms, mild and stable autumns, and cool dry winters with occasional cold snaps; elevated holes can feel windier than valley holes.
Best Season to Play
Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable and stable conditions for golf, while the rainy season in June–July and the hot, typhoon-prone midsummer are best avoided.
