At about 6,900 yards the course can play long, so prioritize position and consider laying up on reachable par‑5s rather than always going for the green.

The hilly terrain creates uneven lies and elevation changes, so adjust club selection—take an extra club for uphill shots and one less for downhill.

Zoysia (Kōrai) greens can play firmer and slower than bentgrass, so focus on controlled putts and allow for subtle breaks.

Wind can be variable due to coastal influence and elevation, so check wind direction from elevated tees and aim accordingly.
