Playing Tips

Tee shots require accuracy because fairways are relatively narrow and tree-lined, so prioritize placement over pure distance.

Several holes and the clubhouse overlook the Pacific and exposed holes can be affected by sea breezes, so always factor wind into club selection and aim.

The hilly terrain produces noticeable elevation changes, so adjust club selection (take more club uphill, less downhill) and pay attention to yardage markers.

The single bentgrass green has pronounced undulations, so favor the safer, larger portion of the green on approach and consult your caddie for reading slopes and pin locations.

Play conservatively around hazards and on tricky green complexes to avoid difficult long putts and reduce the chance of big numbers.
