Lake Sagami Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course located in the peaceful Yuzurihara area of Uenohara city, known as a longevity village for its clean air, pleasant climate, and fresh water. About an hour from Shinjuku, this flat course, created by reshaping two hills, is enhanced by natural streams and waterfalls, offering a relaxing environment surrounded by greenery and sunlight. The clubhouse, designed by architect Arata Isozaki, complements the beautiful scenery. Playing Tips

Accuracy off the tee is important because natural streams and waterfalls frame several holes so position often beats pure distance.

Confirm which green surface is in use because the course features both bentgrass and zoysia areas—bent sections tend to be faster and truer while zoysia holds approach shots and can play slower.

Although the layout was created by reshaping two hills, expect short but noticeable elevation changes—club up for uphill approaches and take one less club for downhill shots.

Morning rounds can start with slower greens due to dew and lower temperatures, while greens typically firm and speed up in the afternoon, so adjust putting pace accordingly.
