Playing Tips

Favor accuracy off the tee because many fairways are lined with dense pine and several holes have narrow landing areas or OB down the sides.

Treat the front-nine pond-over short hole conservatively—use a confident short iron and avoid aiming too close to the water.

Expect more elevation changes on the back nine; carry distances can be deceptive so club up for uphill approaches and for carries over streams or valleys.

Greens include both Bentgrass and Zoysia, so anticipate faster, truer surfaces on Bentgrass and firmer, slower breaks on Zoysia; leave your approach below the hole when possible.

The long uphill finishing hole demands careful club selection and course management—lay up to a comfortable yardage and take an extra club for the uphill approach when needed.
