Playing Tips

Prioritize accuracy off the tee because strategically placed water hazards and bunkers demand good positioning rather than maximum distance.

Fairways are generally flat with subtle undulations so expect extra rollout on well-struck tee shots and plan landing zones accordingly.

Several holes require long approaches, so choose clubs conservatively and aim for the center of the green rather than attacking tight pin positions.

Greens combine Bermudagrass and Bentgrass and change speed seasonally, so pay close attention to grain, firmness and read putts with seasonal conditions in mind.

Holes near the Arakawa river can produce swirling or gusty winds, so check wind direction on every tee and adjust club selection and shot shape as needed.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) generally offer the most pleasant conditions with mild temperatures and stable weather, avoiding the rainy season and peak summer heat.

Wearing casual attire such as jeans and sandals is prohibited when entering and playing; if wearing shorts, please wear high socks or ankle-covering socks, and please refrain from untucking your shirt.
