Prioritize keeping your tee shots on the fairway because wide bunkers and mounded rough will severely punish wayward drives.

Bentgrass greens tend to be moderately fast with subtle undulations, so focus on distance control and carefully read the breaks on your putts.

Account for elevation changes and wooden-sleeper features on several holes by adjusting club selection for uphill and downhill approaches.

Wind can be noticeable on exposed, higher holes—check direction at the tee and adjust aim and club choice rather than trying to overpower the hole.
