On the tree-lined front nine, accuracy off the tee is more important than distance because narrow fairways and water hazards punish errant drives.

The open, links-style back nine is exposed to wind so factor in crosswinds and headwinds when choosing clubs and aiming for the fairway.

Bentgrass one-putting greens feature subtle undulations so prioritize pace control and read breaks carefully to avoid costly three-putts.

Given the long overall yardage and hilly routing, club up on uphill approaches and play conservatively around fairway bunkers and native rough to keep rounds steady.
