The hilly layout requires careful club selection for uphill and downhill approach shots, so plan to take an extra club uphill and one less downhill when necessary.

Aim for the center of the fairway off the tee to avoid tricky side slopes and obtain the best angles into the greens.

Bentgrass greens tend to roll true but can get quicker in warm, dry conditions, so prioritize speed control over aggressive line-reading.

Be mindful of coastal-influenced winds from the Kanmon area on exposed holes and adjust aim and club selection accordingly.
