Wide fairways allow for more aggressive tee shots, so prioritize distance but avoid chasing fairway slopes that can kick balls into thick rough or hazards.

Seven natural ponds come into play on several holes, so favor conservative tee and approach lines where water is a factor to avoid big numbers.

Because the course is hilly with frequent elevation changes, adjust club selection—take an extra club for uphill shots and consider the roll on downhill shots.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but can run quick; leave approaches below the hole and focus on lag putting to save pars.

With self-play five-seater electric carts, manage your pace of play and be ready for uneven stances and sidehill lies around tees and approaches.
