Being a highland course near Mount Asama, elevation changes and thinner air can alter carry—confirm yardage on the GPS and consider clubbing down or up accordingly.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and receptive but can have subtle breaks, so focus on precise approach shots and careful reads on putts.

Exposed holes can be affected by mountain breezes and crosswinds, so account for wind on tee shots and long irons, particularly in the afternoon.
