Playing Tips

Although fairways are generally wide and flat, the course is long (6,934 yd) so prioritize accuracy off the tee to set up shorter approach shots.

Clusters of ancient cedar and fir trees line many holes, so favor placement shots over low-risk power to avoid blocked angles into the greens.

Bentgrass greens are receptive but can hold subtle breaks, so be conservative with putt speed and focus on hitting the correct side of the hole.

The layout alternates between a more forested front nine and a brighter, more open back nine with some elevation changes, so be ready to adjust club selection and trajectory as holes vary.

Late spring (when seasonal flowers bloom) and autumn (for pleasant weather and spectacular fall colors) are the most enjoyable times to play.
