Playing Tips

At about 6,870 yards the course plays long enough that prioritizing accurate tee shots over pure distance will help keep scores down.

The two green types—Bentgrass and Zoysia—behave differently so expect Bentgrass to be faster and Zoysia to hold approach shots more, and select clubs accordingly.

Check wind direction carefully before each hole because open sections on the Kanto plain can produce steady breezes that affect club selection.

Aim for the center of greens on approaches where possible, as subtle slopes and differing grass types can make recovery putts challenging.

Bring shoes with good traction (soft spikes recommended) and be prepared for wet/dewy conditions in the morning to maintain stability on short-game shots.
