The course is hilly with a broad, expansive front nine and a more intricate back nine, so carry a range of clubs to handle frequent elevation changes.

Many holes reward accurate tee placement rather than pure length, especially on the tighter or more subtly bunkered/contoured back nine.

With two Bentgrass greens, putts often show subtle breaks and require careful attention to both line and pace.

Wind from the Seto Inland Sea can affect club selection on exposed holes, so check the breeze before every tee and on approach shots.

Allow extra yardage for uphill approaches and reduce for downhill shots, as elevation changes commonly influence how far your ball will travel.
