Playing Tips

The course’s mountainous setting means frequent elevation changes, so club up for uphill approaches and club down on long downhill shots to avoid coming up short or overshooting the green.

Many fairways are tree-lined and can be relatively narrow, so accuracy off the tee is more important than pure distance to keep approaches open.

Bentgrass greens hold approach shots well but can be faster with subtle breaks, so spend time reading the line and focus on speed control on your putts.

Wind in the foothills can be changeable and gusty; check wind direction at each tee and be prepared to adjust club selection and shot shape accordingly.
