Playing Tips

Both King and Queen courses play long at around 7,000 yards each, so prioritize distance control and fairway accuracy to avoid long approach shots.

The course is hilly so expect frequent elevation changes and adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots accordingly.

Wind from Lake Biwa can be variable and gusty on exposed holes, so check wind direction at each tee and play conservative lines when breezy.

Bentgrass greens are typically receptive but can have subtle undulations, so focus on approach precision and respect green speeds when putting.

Use the electric carts with navigation to study hole layouts and yardages, but avoid unnecessary aggressive shots that can lead to recovery trouble on sloping lies.
