Playing Tips

On the East 18 several holes feature water hazards so prioritize accuracy off the tee and consider laying up rather than forcing long carries over water.

The West 9 is shorter but has noticeable elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots, often taking one club extra on uphill approaches.

Bentgrass greens are generally smooth and can be firm—control approach shots and read subtle slopes carefully to avoid three-putting.

Hilly terrain can create variable wind conditions with swirling gusts on exposed ridgelines, so play conservatively when the wind picks up and trust lower-trajectory shots when necessary.

Soft spikes are recommended for traction on the slopes and bring a couple of extra balls since water hazards and elevation-influenced shots increase risk.
