About This Course

Higashihiroshima Country Club, managed by PGM, offers a scenic 36-hole layout set in gently rolling terrain. The course features mostly flat or downhill holes, with short intervals between greens and tees for comfortable play. The southern course is shorter and more accessible, especially on its front nine, while the northern course provides longer, more challenging holes suited for big hitters. From April 2025, night golf will be available on the southern 18 holes, providing a unique and atmospheric experience. Located in Hiroshima Prefecture, the club maintains bentgrass greens and requires soft spikes only for footwear.

Playing Tips

Use the southern 18 for a more forgiving, shorter test and save aggressive tee shots for the longer northern holes where distance matters.

Because the routing is mostly flat or downhill with short walks between greens and tees, maintain a steady pace and be ready to play successive short approaches.

Bentgrass greens can run true and brisk—take care with speed on mid-to-long putts and read subtle breaks before committing.

Wind is usually light to moderate but can influence exposed holes, so check wind direction on each tee and favor controlled, lower shots; for night golf on the south course confirm lighting and visibility and choose high-visibility balls.

Local Weather Patterns

Higashihiroshima has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and a rainy season in June–July; typhoon risk increases in late summer/early autumn while winters are generally mild and drier.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and the most stable conditions for golf.

Dress Code

Golf wear is recommended for entry (no restrictions on wearing blazers). Please refrain from using the facility and course in jeans, T-shirts, training wear, etc. Entry is not allowed in sandals, Crocs, etc. (We kindly ask the person making the reservation to inform all accompanying guests.)
