Playing Tips

The course is forgiving with out-of-bounds only around the perimeter, so play conservatively off the tee and aim for the center of the fairway rather than trying to cut corners.

Because the course faces Hyuga Bay, expect coastal sea breezes that can change club selection—check wind direction before every tee shot.

Palm trees and landscaping frame many holes, so keep tee shots straighter to avoid blocked sightlines and awkward recovery shots.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained but can have subtle breaks and moderate speeds, so be careful with putting pace and read contours closely.

Although generally flat, the layout has gentle rises and falls—adjust club choice for uphill or downhill approaches to the greens.

Miyazaki has a warm, subtropical coastal climate with mild winters, hot humid summers, frequent sea breezes and the possibility of heavy rain and strong winds during typhoon season.

Best Season to Play

Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and stable conditions, while peak summer can be hot and typhoon season in late summer/early autumn is best avoided.
