Playing Tips

Although the layout is relatively flat overall, many holes feature subtle uphill and downhill angles so club selection on approaches is important.

Several holes include downhill tee shots and valley crossings, so favor controlled tee shots over pure distance to avoid trouble.

Greens are a mix of bentgrass and zoysia, so expect faster, truer reads on bentgrass and firmer, slower speed on zoysia areas.

Wind can be variable in the Kanto hills, especially on exposed holes, so check flag directions and play conservatively into the wind.

Soft-spike policy and generally forgiving landing areas make it a good venue for focusing on accuracy and short-game recovery.
