Fukuoka Seven Hills Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole course located at an elevation of 400 meters in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. Playing Tips

The front nine mixes long and short holes so focus on course management and avoid forcing long approaches into well-protected greens.

The 5th hole faces the Genkai Sea and can be exposed to strong winds, so take an extra club into a headwind and aim away from the windward side.

The back nine’s wide fairways invite aggressive tee shots but beware of water hazards and the two-tiered 13th fairway—favor position over distance on approach shots.

Large, undulating bentgrass greens are fast and break sharply, so prioritize distance control into the greens and aim for the correct tier to avoid long, difficult putts.

Significant elevation changes across the hilly layout mean you should adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and be conservative when you can't see the landing area.

Being near the Genkai Sea on Kyushu, expect humid summers with occasional typhoons, mild winters with coastal winds, and frequent breezes that can affect club selection.

Best Season to Play

Spring (April–May) and autumn (late September–November) offer the most pleasant temperatures and more stable weather, avoiding the rainy season and typhoon-prone late summer.

Dress Code

Please wear a blazer or jacket (excluding summer period from June to September). Slippers and sandals are not allowed for entry and exit. Windbreakers, jumpers, and T-shirts are not allowed for entry and exit. Jeans and cargo-type pants (with large flap pockets) are not allowed for entry and exit. Please wear a shirt with a collar and sleeves, and tuck it into your pants.
