The course is hilly so allow extra club for uphill shots and expect the ball to run out more on downhill lies.

The famed 18th hole (the “Queen”) finishes the round with a demanding approach, so favour accuracy over distance and consider laying up when in doubt.

Greens are bentgrass and tournament-calibre, often resulting in fast, undulating putting surfaces—focus on distance control and careful reads.

Afternoon breezes can strengthen, especially on exposed holes, so check wind direction before key tee shots and adjust club selection accordingly.

All carts have navigation—use the yardages and hole layouts to plan conservative targets off the tee and avoid unnecessary trouble.
