The course is mostly flat and tree-lined, so accuracy off the tee is often more important than pure distance to avoid blocked approaches.

Short holes frequently feature ponds and require conservative club selection or a confident carry, with the West Course 3rd hole specifically demanding a water carry.

The Central Course's 3rd hole has a green separated by trees, making precise approaches and creative recovery shots essential.

Greens are bentgrass and generally receptive with subtle undulations, so focus on careful reads and pace control on your putts.

Many holes are sheltered by woodland so wind is often subdued, but exposed holes near ponds can produce swirling breezes—check conditions on the day.
